Since its founding in 2011, the association, as a charity, is committed to cohere outstanding & distinguished students from the 5 districts of Kowloon. The association’s mission is to provide a platform for exchanging opinions and nurturing talents between outstanding students in the region and districts, cultivate them to be students with a good character, as well as promote a better sense of understanding to their community and foster a sense of commitment to the society.

The association is formed by the Board of the Kowloon Region Outstanding Students’ Association and the Council. The chairman of the 5th Board of Directors is Mr Kwok Man Kwun, and the President of the Council is Mr Wong Tze Hin Mendes.

The association has dedicated great effort in organising various youth activities, including the Kowloon Region Outstanding Students Election, Mentorship Programs, Voluntary Teaching and Tutoring, Mock Oral Exams, Speech Competitions and Exchange Tours, etc. Among which, the Mock Oral Exams has proven to be a record-breaking success, with the participation of thousands of HKDSE candidates.
